What the figures are

PluginRisk publishes general information calculated from public data, mainly the European Environment Agency's real-world CO2 emissions dataset (on-board fuel consumption meter readings). Figures are averages across many cars and will differ from any individual car. The data may contain reporting errors by manufacturers or authorities; we flag inconsistencies we find but cannot guarantee every figure. Our method is described on the methodology page.

Not advice

Nothing on this site is financial, tax, legal or purchasing advice. Tax pages summarise official guidance at the date shown and may be out of date; check GOV.UK or HMRC, or ask a qualified adviser, before acting. Calculators give estimates based on your inputs and our assumptions.

The site and its data are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, PluginRisk is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
