About PluginRisk

PluginRisk is an independent website that shows how much fuel plug-in hybrid cars really use, model by model, using open data from the European Environment Agency.

Official fuel figures for plug-in hybrids assume a share of electric driving that most owners never reach. We think buyers, company car drivers and fleet managers deserve the real figure before they choose a car.

Independence

We are not affiliated with any car maker, dealer or the EEA. Rankings are calculated the same way for every model and are never paid for. If we add partner links in future, they will be labelled clearly and will not change any figure.
